Just started riding again after 6 year hiatus. Been riding off and on since 75. I just got my Ninja 250r last Saturday. My last bike was a 2003 Ninja ZX6. Prior to that I had a 2000 Ninja EX250. Many others too numerous to list right now. Really enjoyed riding with you guys today(July 4th). Trying to get my "sea legs " again after not riding for several years. I think the ride this morning really helped me get used to my new bike. Hope to join y'all again for some riding.

Well, the way I found you guys was part luck actually. I used to live a few blocks behind the sonic and used to see a group of riders there, I think on Sunday mornings. Anyway, I just happened to be riding over there on the 4th, not expecting anyone to be there but there you were so I decided to pull in.

You may find we are not what some consider the stereo typical sport bike riders.

Take a few and read up on the guidelines and our riding style. The ride you joined up on was a moderate ride, there is another one tomorrow Saturday the 7th.

The most critical thing in group riding is riding your own ride, don't feel rushed or try to catch the person in front of you, that's no fun for anyone.

Don't feel pressured to keep up, ride what your comfortable with, if the groups get spread out or separated the group up front will wait at the next turn off so no one gets left behind.

If your unable to keep up, the problem isn't you, it's the other people.
