I blame the Euro for all of these various countries in Europe that have faced financial woes...

Yeah, but the whole "government dissolves" thing happens a lot in European countries. If they can't have what they call a consensus government, they hold new elections. Sounds like the same concept here.

I wish we had that in the US. If Congress can't get shit done, they all lose their jobs and we have new elections. Right now would be a great time for that--we've had the objectively most useless Congress ever the last few elections. They keep setting new record lows for bills passed.

No that's an amen for sure. That shut down stunt they pulled- all should've been fined.

The problem with new elections is that the idiot voters in this country would elect the same idiots simply because they recognized the name.

That or sheeple syndrome. Common sense, such an oxymoron.

No, but passing the *least* laws is a pretty good indicator of a shitty one.

I wish I got paid what they do to not do my job.

Off topic, but I would love to be a punter in the NFL for a year or two. The minimum salary is $300,000 per year. A couple years doing some very light labor and good investments and I could take a piddly ass job for a few years for spending money until I retired.

I think you've missed try-outs this year. Just watch the injury reports, you may still get your chance. One of them will slip on a bar of soap, instant pulled groin, and you're in.

Maybe better than that is the third string QB...can you carry a clipboard and tell the other guys what a good job they're doing?

Then 3rd string QB is for you. You know how to throw an empty beer can, and hold a clip board?
