So getting back on topic, how can you maximize your trail braking if you're an atheist? My understanding is that proper technique is to stay on the throttle in the straight until you see Jesus, then get hard on the brakes and tip in.

That's why atheists have lower lap times. :track:

I tend to wait until I see His noodly appendages, then wait a split second, then initiate braking. Sometimes I break.

I am a Christian as most of you know. Like the people that I attend "church" with right now and like the people at the last place also. I am not one that believes that the building has anything to do with the church other than being the place that the people gather. I dont believe that my faith requires me to give up rational thought and I would never suggest anyone stop searching for answers. I do believe that God wants us to strive for knowledge of all things. As for why God does not perform miracles anymore..... Well for one it does not require much faith to believe in something when it is being proven to you. It would also stunt growth if God was to get directly involved in our life on earth.... Look at it like the government .... the more that is provided for you the less you care to provide for yourself. One day when we have space travel figured out like star trek we will come across civilizations that believe in God and they will have the bible word for word..... :)) In any case I hope to see you all in Heaven one day and it be everything it is supposed to be.... till then I will enjoy your company here on earth and I wont be picking on you because of your belief in whatever it is you believe.

That would be interesting and very convincing, if we find an alien race that has a book nearly identical to the bible. Although the existence of an alien race would throw a pretty major wrench in the hard core bible thumpers.

I dont see why an alien race would be a problem for bible thumpers. Maybe I fell asleep during that part but I dont remember anything in the bible about anything outside of earth.

Exactly the problem. The hard core bible thumpers say if it's not in the bible it doesn't exist so an alien race would shake their beliefs hard. Granted these are the same fools that also say the earth is only what, 5000 years old, and dinosaurs didn't exist.
