Heath this sounds like a blast. Have they refinished the track at ECR? I've heard the rumors, but no definite answers. Are you still riding a ZX10r?

From what Shaun told me the track is supposed to be much better. I still have the ZX-10 but now have a SV 650 for a track bike. Have had it a year now and have only rode it down the driveway.

The track is OK...:) well kinda bumpy. I have only been there once last year. The track Itself is very challenging , for me at least. I would like to go back this year too. Shaun is a great instructor. And it is not crowded like Ridesmart. Oh well, level 3 is never crowded anyway:) just the lower levels:)

Well today was my first time to ride at Eagles Canyon Raceway. I have to say the track is a lot of fun. They might have a few bumps but with a suspension set properly and the right you don't notice them.

Today was the first day I got to ride my SV 650 and I have to say it truly is a fun bike.

Sport Rider Coaching day was the best time I have had at a track ever. I would recommend everyone to try it at least once. You won't be disappointed.

Had a great time at Sport Rider Coaching yesterday. Fast forward to 13:51 where I come into the picture. This was the second session of the day and we were working on no braking exercise. This is the third track day on this motorcycle.
If you haven't done a track day with Sport Rider Coaching you are truly missing out.

Awesome, do you know if they have done any improvements to the track surface in the last year?

Yes they have. I don't have any issue with the track surface. There is some bumps but has lots of traction.

Man, awful lot of black tar and concrete patches out there still.

That might be true but there is plenty of traction and no issues for me on the track.

I did a coaching day there with Ben Gooding. The surface was not as bad as I was expecting, but when you start building speed it is not smooth. It has a covered paddock area with power. If I was not moving I would join ECR for sure. They are relatively cheap and don’t have session fees.

Had a great time yesterday at ECR with Sport Rider Coaching. Probably going to be my last weekend for a few month. They are closing the track in August and September for a full rebuild.

I ran my lap timer yesterday and my best lap was 2:21.53.

My front tires don't have much chicken strip left.

Will they continue doing the rider coaching when they reopen? If you run out of chicken strips, I have plenty....
