It's going to be cold. Now they say 45 tomorrow. Was supposed to get close to 60.

I was hoping this would be one of those forecasts that isn't as bad as advertised, but I think you are right. So I will add on some extra layers and hope they don't cancel. I have not ridden a modern 2 stroke. I know the 80-90's 2 strokes had killer powerbands but nothing on the bottom, so one of my first rides will be on the YZ250.

Ended up taking Jason (14) with me who got about 2 hours seat time on ttr125. His first time on a bike with a manual clutch. He had a blast! There yet may be hope for me to have a biker buddy. Ya, it was also COLD!

So, you didn't get to ride the smoker?..'cause you were a good dad and were keeping an eye on Jason the whole time just like momma wanted you to...or... :HeadScratch:

Well, I went back on Sunday and rode a yz250, yz250x and the yz450f. The 450 imo was the easiest to ride, a lazy guy like me can just idle it around the track. The 2 strokes still have that "holy shit!" power surge! Overall, I really liked the Yamaha's suspension. I left thinking that I need to keep working with the suspension on my bike as it is not as dialed in as these bikes were.
