Post by SputnikSam » Tue May 01, 2018 10:22 am

I'm thinking about doing the Dragoo Adventure Rider Training in Normal, OK June 24-26

The pricing is $395 (or for personalized custom clinics $295 per day for up to 6 students/$450 for two days.

Just putting this out there in case anyone else wants to tag along.

Interesting. I won't be able to do the June class, but maybe the next time they are close by.

Sounds interesting

Note from the .pdf on luggage:

- Hard panniers are dangerous and will not be allowed during training. If necessary, you may remove panniers and set them aside during training.
- Soft luggage may remain on the bike during training.
- Tank bags are trouble. A small one perched up high and forward is okay, but plan to remove large ones...even if you have used them for years. Due to the forward posed body position of some of the exercises you will find them quite intrusive and an impediment to freedom of movement.
- Tail bags and boxes can be limiting if too large or too far forward. Just make sure that you can move freely aft while standing. A small tail bag for snacks or some tools is fine. I would rather not see tail boxes on the bike during training, as a strike to the tailbone can be painful.

Yes, Normal is OK! Don't get cheeky with me Shane! :)

I went ahead and signed up, they allow 72-hour cancellations, and said the class is about 2/3 full. I will probably ride up if the KLR is still good after the Utah trip :-D Unless someone trailers with me.

Or you could just get it all out of the way and do this one:

It is a little further out of the way but I think it might be more fun than Oklahoma.

I'd say so. But you're right, probably a lot more fun. :D

So you'll end up doing the Ducati training instead? Awesome! Let me know when, I'll go with you.
