Bastille Day Meet & Greet

Post by fartymarty » Mon Jul 02, 2018 6:12 pm

I have a Concours Owners Group ride listed for Saturday July 14th at 11:30, meeting at the Smokestack restaurant in Thurber.
However, I will be at the IHOP in Cleburne celebrating Bastille Day with some French Toast before I leave for Thurber.
I've listed a route between the two and for me it's a 3 hour route, for you guys not so much. I'm inviting FWMR members and meatballs
and FWMR hangers-on (like me) to join us. No you aren't expected to ride with us old slow guys, but yeah we're kinda hoping some of you
will show up at either or both restaurants and let us ogle your sport bikes (or ADV bikes) and you can pretend to be interested
in our barco-land-yacht-cycles. I hope some of you can make it.

It's OK, we had a total of 4 show up, it was a nice ride, as we had some morning clouds to help.
The ride home on I-20 after lunch however, was full heat and sun. :-o
Maybe next year.
