What the hell evar!!! we put in far more miles than that in a weekend ride every now and then.
If ya do it right, long distance challenges could get more entertaining and/or you could end up making some new friends.

Back to Scavenger Hunting!!

Okay, Here is my new suggestion. Miles started this thread, so he leads the first round. Miles picks the list length, items on the list, and completion date, and how to keep track who completes what and how to "reveal" it, (i.e., tally where everyone can see, slide show at end, whatever)and if it is a teams or solo event. Winner gets to run the next round. Otherwise, we should have one decision maker because obviously we all have very differing opinions. This can be either Miles if he wants to run it, or someone else if he does not.
I can get behind that.

Miles, pick the rules and post them up. If you don't want to make a reveal all complicated, then don't. We'll play by your rules and regroup after this round is done. :D
Ok, this is like a test run and after this we can change or stay the same. Or switch things up and do it differently.

Game starts July 18, it runs until September 18. (3 months). First 100 items on the list. No teams, but group pictures count(like i said we want to promote group riding). Someone said we can make our own folders with pictures, that sounds good to me. This is a test run so by all means have fun and if we want to change it up or do something different we can after 3 months. I will be making the offical link later. Questions?

Should anyone get creative, and the item is in question, Miles decides the validity of the claim (Such as your bike on water, does running the water hose down the gutter and sticking your tires in that count...)

Some of the stuff is all lumped together by idea/category/whatever, could you randomize the list before picking off the top 100? Or pull the first 100 even-numbered ones or something?

Same thing I think.

Check out http://random.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you put in the number of total things to find, it'll keep generating random numbers. Pick off that item number from the master list until you get 100, ignoring repeats.

One plus about this game is that if done right, you can probably take care of scavenger challenges and end up getting in a picture challenge along the way.

looks good, I'm going to go ahead and say no to multiple items in one photo, it would just make it too easy to knock out some of these things and the whole point is riding to get these, we can change that later if we want.
