Nope. It's a "if you think I'm just talking shit about defending myself you will find out otherwise" statement.
I have never brandished my weapon as a means of power, intimidation or a threat, it's not a billy bad ass play toy.
The last people that rushed my house got a nice .45 in their face, I also called the police and yes, I was in the right, they got in trouble.

You say "last people" like this has happened more than once? Common issue in your neck of the woods?fixxervi6 wrote:Nope. It's a "if you think I'm just talking shit about defending myself you will find out otherwise" statement.

I had a crime/suspicious activity problem at my last residence, so I moved. 6th time calling 911 after midnight was my limit.

once random men helped themselves to walk in while beck was home alone, and once the party behind me decided to bail through my yard when the cops showed up - all I saw was a river of people pouring over my fence rushing my house so I met them with a .45, it was like putting a spotlight on roaches the way they scattered, except the fat one. He kept trying to escape but the fence would break so I walked up to him and yelled in his face "take the fucking gate asshole". My fence still has broken slats from that fat ass.JTChiTown wrote:You say "last people" like this has happened more than once? Common issue in your neck of the woods?fixxervi6 wrote:Nope. No it is not but if you road rage on me and then follow me, you are now harassing me and I will be in fear of my life (and I will take the steps necessary to protect myself). That is more than enough for the cops to be involved, especially once I get the license plate number.Rhino wrote:Big talk from the Hornungs. I'd suggest a group hug, but I don't want to offend anyone.

I love offending you...that is my passion in life...haven't you figured that out by now? I might get scared of that big brisket in your smoker and whip out my pistol and pistol whip into shape. It may add some unwanted flavor but that is how I rollRhino wrote:I'm good, I don't live anywhere near you so unlikely I'll be shot because you didn't like the looks of me.Telomere wrote:I apologize if I feel protecting my life with whatever means offends you. Re: Keeping your emotions in check
I'd liked to see a huge group hug, transgender style (think Rocky Horror Picture show) and some kind of off-key, horrible, famous show-tune belted out using kazoos. See, Terry's nice suggestion for a plain ol' group hug isn't so bad now, is it? (It's Wednesday, smile and laugh...and go buy a kazoo!)

Just because I can squat more than you and I am catching you on bench, doesn't mean you have to be sad. Just put more plates on next time.dufremle wrote:

Re: Keeping your emotions in check
You know I am changing up my routine and need to start out with less weight. And I still do more weight on my first set on bench press than you do on your last.
I'm still ahead of Rick on bench, too. For now.
