Bittersweet news.

Post by DemonDuck » Tue Nov 24, 2015 8:23 am

I have taken a promotion which is a great thing. However I will be moving to Greenville, Il which isn't a bad thing but it is kinda a sad thing. I am going to miss you all and that part sucks. I will stay active on the boards and visit when I can. I am sure a few track days will see me down here and maybe my path will lead me back to the area one day. This won't be for about 3 months or so and I'll give an accurate date when I have one. I love you guys and girls.

Congrats, and bummer.

On the plus side, you'll only be about 3 hours from Indy for when the MotoGP comes to town. And you'll also be just down the road from Effingham, IL, it's effing great!

When someone gets time you can explain what Indy, Effingham, and Indiana have to do with Greenville (Texas I was assuming).

If it's Indiana...DON'T DO IT!!!

Or is DS still exhibiting concussion symptoms?

It's just a funny name and there are several comedy bits about it although I couldn't find a youtube link to the effing house family restaurant bit, which is probably the best of the bunch.

There's also the big effing cross.....

Easy drive down to Metropolis for the family (superman). Great track days available at Putnam Park. Wonderful roads about an hour south.

All around not a terrible place to live.

I am not sure if I will live in Greenville or not. Surrounding area might work but then I am looking hard at Edwardsville area. Also Highland is another spot that has my eye. Looking for great schools and all.

Man, one of you mods must have slipped that IL in there, otherwise I might be losing my mind. I'll say it was the mods. :HeadScratch:

No not really. Not even a supervisory position but it is 2 levels above my current status and will allow me to move right into a supervisory position if I so choose.
