I just posted next weeks bike night at Pluckers. I am going to post another unofficial bike night later in the month. I'm not sure where, but I have a couple of ideas. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

As the year is half over now, I talked to Matt about moving bike night. We agreed that we should just move it and get it over with. I am going to move it to Old Chicago (Presidio) and change the night to Wednesday. We will keep to the same schedule of the second Wednesday of the month.

Matt, can you update the Bike Night page when you get a chance?

As everyone knows, restaurants are currently closed for dine-in. I received an email from Old Chicago stating they have temporarily shut down completely until further notice. I expect other restaurants to do the same, and it remains to be seen how many reopen when they are allowed to. If the shut down extends too long, I think a lot will be closed permanently.

That being said, I was looking into changing bike night locations, again, due to Old Chicago having Bingo on Wednesday nights. I checked out a place called Witten's Bar and Grill in Hurst. (Thanks for the suggestion Stoney) It is located across the freeway from Freedom Powersports on Pipeline Rd. They have a full bar and a large selection of food, an outdoor patio that extends around the corner of the building with parking right next to it, and lots of indoor seating. My goal was to set up an off-week bike night to check it out. Assuming it also reopens eventually I would still like to check it out. I know it's not technically in Fort Worth, but I believe the location is a little better, and it is closer to a motorcycle shop. They also do not have any planned events on Wednesday nights. :D

Again, if you have any suggestions let me know.

I heard about OC, Witten's website and Google entry still say Take-Out and Delivery only. I was going to swing by OC this week sometime to see how they are doing things.

Chris, are you sure Witten's open for dine-in?

I was planning on setting one up, just not sure where yet. I need to swing by Old Chicago and Witten's to see which might be better.

Are we open to 50% occupancy yet ? I am not afraid to be out in public (as I have been going to work since this all started) but for those that may be iffy but want to go to bike night, maybe look for a place that has outdoor seating. I think Old Chicago does but I know nothing about the other place other than Chris's in-laws own it.
