I don't know this brand, not sure if the deal is as good as it suggests, but the price is cheap.

Says it has a DOT and ECE rating so protection wise it should be decent. Just a question of how comfortable it is. A different web page confirms the MSR of nearly $300 so it could be just a good clearance deal.

Shiro came to the US and was being distributed by Fulmer Helmets. Fulmer has stopped importing them therefore it's a dead helmet line. From what I read they are supposed to be decent helmets, but good luck finding parts/shields. http://www.ironpony.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; has clear shields only. Smoke shields in Germany: http://www.fc-moto.de/epages/fcm.sf/en_ ... teid=73669" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Terry,

Thought you were an Arai guy only? :-D

I just try to pass along great deals, in case someone needs one.

For the record, while still pricey, this new Arai is $337 cheaper than it was a year ago due to the introduction of the new Corsair X (I bought a Corsair V). The are deals to be had for those looking for one, even in solid colors.
