Doubt it shocks or maces someone who is going to try to take the bike so worthless in my opinion.

I like the idea. If I was to drop my full coverage then I would use something like this.

If my bike gets stolen I don't want it back, no telling what gets done to it while they have it.

While I agree with Rick when having full coverage, this is perfect for people who don't. Or even for vintage bikes that can't really be replaced

This can be rendered useless just like every other tracking device they make. It might help if the thief doesn't know what they are doing, but otherwise it will be removed/disabled within minutes. Even LoJack stopped supporting motorcycles because the system was too easily disabled.
