Logan's boot and shoe repair
226 w hickory at
Denton tx 76208

It's an older lady and her husband that run the place. When I brought in it in she told me the last time she worked on one of those suits was when Evel Knievel was in lewisville and need some repairs done! Pretty cool stuff

I had the same exact thing happen to my SS leather jacket.

Any new info on places. This is a very old thread and all. I am going looking tomorrow.... just need the zipper reattached a little at the bottom of the jacket.

I'm a regular customer at Moto Liberty. They (or rather, the person whom they outsource this to) have repaired my leathers many times, and I've always been happy with their work. In fact, my leathers are over there right now. Make sure you give them about a full week to get it done.

Its not just crashing (which I only seem to do about 1.5 times per season, on average :D ), but also general wear and tear: The inside thighs get a lot of wear, due to the tank pads. Also, waiting too long to replace the knee pugs, and then dragging knee on the leather itself doesn't help either.

Okay, those are mostly problems I don't encounter a great deal I'll have to admit. I do have some very light scuffs on my knee pucks (no, I didn't fall down in the paddock), and a few bugs I need to clean off.

It's really funny when you see someone's knee pucks and you can tell them took them off and ground them on the sidewalk.

I have transferred my worn track pugs onto my street leathers, and have found it rather priceless to see the look on people's faces when they see some dude dismounting a C-14 at a gas station with completely worn knee pugs... :SideSplittingLaughter:

Yeah, you definitely get Rhino's brass balls award if you can pull that off.

You may also receive your severed balls back. Available separately.

I found a place near my house that is going to charge me 16 to restitch the zipper on the jacket and will have it back to me in 2 days. After the work is complete I will give a full report.

The amount alone is odd enough to make me curious.

Well it will have to be better than the bottom part not being stitched in. Even if its not great it will work but we will see.
