I need a chain

This one is REALLY affordable. Any reason not to?

That seems way too cheap. Better make sure it isn't used.

Thats a standard chain, which means no o-rings. These are good for race bikes where you need the 1 to 2 hp that an o-ring chain absorbs. They dont last long, which is fine for a race bike. Not so good for a street bike, you'll find it needs to be tightened constantly until you notice it flexes sideways almost as much as it does lengthways.

That is a non o- ring chain. You need an o-ring chain at least.

Go to D2moto.com for a cheap chain. They are supposed to be decent but very cheap.

P.S. they are O ring.

From the product description:

"For motorcycles up to 400cc that did not come with an O-ring or heavy-duty chain as standard equipment"

Ok, thanks. And thanks for the website. I think I found one. Any reason not to pick this one up? Any volunteers to show me how to put it on properly? Mebbe a club maintenance day?

No problem. I think that chain should do you fine. Just keep it lubed like any other chain.

Hit me up when you get your chain, I've never done a rivet chain before but I have the tools, and most of the time I'm able to figure this stuff out before I break it.

I'll put on a maintainance day after it cools off a bit, my garage gets to like 115+ degrees due to it facing west, doing anything in the garage is extremely miserable this time of year.

Sadly there won't be any 69. I'm not sure what an 82 looks like, but it looks kind of like a dude running from the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man.

If you haven't gotten your chain changed yet. I've still got Rhino's chain breaker and can help ya.
