Introduction

Post by Benitez1117 » Thu Mar 26, 2015 9:52 am

A little info about myself:
My name is Alex.
I'm 27
I have a little over 2 years riding experience.
Got my motorcycle endorsement before I even bought a bike.
Got my degree in Architecture
Work at an Architecture firm
have owned 4 bikes.
Started off on an 09 Kawasaki Ninja 650r, rode that for 6 months.
Sold 650r and bought an 07 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R, rode that for a year and a half.
Sold ZX6R and bought an 09 Suzuki GSXR 600, beautiful bike just wasn't fond of the throttle response in any of the power modes so I sold it shortly after.
I currently ride a 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R. LOVE IT! Glad I went back to Kawasaki, they are amazing bikes.

Welcome, and you better post a picture of some kind of bikes soon (even if it isn't yours), the natives are getting restless. :-D

You'll enjoy this bunch, and the rides they host.

And if you need opinions on virtually anything, we've got those in spades. Herein lies all motorcycle knowledge. :-)

Oh sorry, I forgot to answer how I came across the group.
I was actually searching for "bike nights" in my area and this website came up on my search. I checked it out and liked what I was reading, so I joined.

Thanks a lot guys, I appreciate the compliments and welcomes.
I see there is a ride on the books for Sunday. it's an Intermediate ride and since I haven't been on any rides with you guys, I probably need to go on a moderate level one. Any chance of one of those happening anytime soon?
Also, could I possibly swing by the sonic before you guys head out to meet some of y'all?

We should have plenty of moderate rides coming up, just keep an eye on the ride section or subscribe. It would be awesome he you stopped by before we left, a few peeps do that every once and awhile when they can't actually make the ride.

That's really hard to say. Sometimes people are there 30min before the ride & then sometimes everyone shows right before the ride is about to start.

Usually there are a lot of moderates. I'm going to be leading my first soon, so I hope you can make it. We probably will only get lost a few times, so it shouldn't be too bad. :)
