We can substitute a select few of them with our own ideas.

My personal favorites include:
- Your bike with an old woman (70 years or older) sitting on it
- Your bike at a National Park
- Your bike with a live reptile (bonus if the reptile sits on the bike)
- Your bike in front of a paper company
- Your bike in front of a nail shop
- Your bike with a live bird (bonus if the bird sits on the bike)

Works for me Miles.

Are we doing it where first person to claim an item is the only one who can claim it, or anybody can claim any item and winner is the one closest to all 201?

I prefer the latter so it's not a race to get individual things on the list.

I like those as well. I really don't think we need any set number like 201, but we do need to put a cap on it at some point so we don't just keep adding. Also what do you think about a few shots in full gear suit/helmet etc.. I saw one about full gear on a ferris wheel that i thought was really funny. Full gear on a kids playground toy etc..

Sure, those sound good. An excuse to throw on the track suit and be silly. :D

How long do you think we should let it run? Some of these may take some planning to go pick up, I think maybe a month is too short. 2 months? 3? Or maybe just get a long ass list and let it run to the end of the year or until somebody hits every item, whichever comes first?

I do recall something of that sort.

I think we should end the list on january 2(my birthday) :D That way i gives us time to get snow pics and etc.... The game will end if someone gets everything before then, but of course you can keep playing to get 2nd and 3rd. Lets start the came on july 20th. We will need an offical list made up by then. How does that sound?

Blizzard_1708 wrote:I also kinda like the teams idea. To make people coordinate to visit the places. We could see how many people are interested in playing, and then try to split into teams of about 3-5 bikes. Draw cards at bike night, and the people who draw spades are the team leaders and get to choose members of their team.
are the teams going to be chosen tomorrow at bike night? If so I'll show up because this sounds like fun and gets me a chance to ride with peeps instead of riding solo all the time

I say no teams, but you can get people together to do the items.

I agree, it would be bad if we had the kind of teams where *all* bikes have to be in the same pic. That said, there are *plenty* of opportunities there for people to do informal rides together to go pick stuff up. Like Talimena or the 3 Sisters, no way I'd run off and do that solo when I could ride them with you guys.

Dude, that was just a river crossing with a smooth, flat, gravel / rocky bottom. CR 3137 is about like an off-road endurance / baja track section. I can handle gravel a little gravel, a couple potholes, etc. CR 3137 is like taking your sportbike in a dry creek bed washout.... because I think that's what most of it is...
