The boys assemble, paint, and launch rockets (my pack doesn't know the proper name..hence, rocket academy not missile. DOH) at Sid Richardson boy scout camp. They have different types of missiles (air, chemical, water etc) and they will have BB shooting and archery ranges for the boys. Needless to say, Eric is looking forward to it and Rick and I are going with. It better be fun because I am doing this instead of riding (my 8 year old better have fun).

OH!!! It is also Pi day...I may try to get a Pi day souvenir if we have enough daylight left after the rocket academy.

Expo was a blast. They had arts and crafts for the kids. Had a whole area and facts based around abolishing nuclear weapons. They had kids singing, doing dances, tiko drums (spelling?)and discussions groups about violence, nulear disarmament, poverty, and rasicm. As one a young mens division leader I found it amazing that the younger generation has such a grasp on some of these topics and Ideas on what can be done. It was a learning experience to say the least. I found it encouraging, that even children have ideas to help change the world for the better. Not just fantasy or wishes but fully realized ideas and step that even they can and have done to start making the world a better place. It all starts with one person with an idea.
