For the record, miles usually isn't quite this "serious"...we may be seeing the early stages of growing up, I'm not sure. I personally refuse to do so.
Yes they do, yes it does, and yes it is.NakedDentonite wrote:Yours is def a traditoinal street fighter. I demoed the FJ09 the other day, and WOW. Triple engines kick ass. Now I'm not sure if its just Yamaha's triple, but its like instant torque above 3K RPM's. A kick straight to the nuts. I wonder if your 1050cc triple is the same way.....Must be fun!LonestarCBR wrote:Me as well...though I like to call it a hooligan bike, or streetfighter, just to make myself feel a little tougher in my old age.NakedDentonite wrote:Yes, and I ride the sportbikes for geezers! I have a really bad headache right now, so i'm not feeling my normal selfLonestarCBR wrote:For the record, miles usually isn't quite this "serious"...we may be seeing the early stages of growing up, I'm not sure. I personally refuse to do so.

Nice that you recognize it! It was in the Arkasas National forest though. After hitting 121 and Mt Judea. It really was gorgeous.DemonDuck wrote:Welcome. Love the pic on talimena scenic drive. That is a great area and some freaking awesome views while riding. Hope to see ya at bikenight or on a ride soon.

BURN!NakedDentonite wrote:Well it's hard to steal a triumph, alot of mechanic shops are like fortresses!LonestarCBR wrote:Uh...we don't steal Yamahas.
You need to break that ass in...that means, riding more and longer rides at a time. Before you know it, your ass will be able to handle 1000 miles no problemBenitez1117 wrote: Unfortunately, my ass can't handle my bike's hard ass seat for too long before it starts hurting so I haven't been too far.
Nice pics and welcome to the club. Hoping to meet you soon.
Gosh darn it! I wanted to ride so bad and poor Miles had some mechanical issues and so I was stuck doing meager city errands. BLECK!Benitez1117 wrote:BURN!NakedDentonite wrote:Well it's hard to steal a triumph, alot of mechanic shops are like fortresses!LonestarCBR wrote:Uh...we don't steal Yamahas.
Had I read this thread earlier I would have invited you to ride with Unfazable and I. We hit up some roads in Aledo, Joshua, Burleson and Hudson Oaks today. As Suggested by Dragonfly, of course.

I hear ya...I once had a Kawasaki that I'd used the seat as an excuse so as to not break down too far away from home. Once.Benitez1117 wrote:BURN!...Unfortunately, my ass can't handle my bike's hard ass seat for too long before it starts hurting so I haven't been too far.
Love the bike but I feel like the seat on this bike is the least padded out of any supersport.LonestarCBR wrote:I hear ya...I once had a Kawasaki that I'd used the seat as an excuse so as to not break down too far away from home. Seriously, nothin' but ridin' toughens up the rear. Ride on brother...til she breaks! (Okay, maybe not seriously).
So wanna ride again tomorrow??Benitez1117 wrote:Love the bike but I feel like the seat on this bike is the least padded out of any supersport.LonestarCBR wrote:I hear ya...I once had a Kawasaki that I'd used the seat as an excuse so as to not break down too far away from home. I guess I somehow have to build up some butt calluses, anyone up for helping me?
But in all seriousness, I aint about that life and it sounds gross.
