For the record, miles usually isn't quite this "serious"...we may be seeing the early stages of growing up, I'm not sure. I personally refuse to do so.

Me as well...though I like to call it a hooligan bike, or streetfighter, just to make myself feel a little tougher in my old age.
Yours is def a traditoinal street fighter. I demoed the FJ09 the other day, and WOW. Triple engines kick ass. Now I'm not sure if its just Yamaha's triple, but its like instant torque above 3K RPM's. A kick straight to the nuts. I wonder if your 1050cc triple is the same way.....Must be fun!
Yes they do, yes it does, and yes it is.

Those are sweet looking screens.

How bad is your fuel snatch? Or do you have a super finesse right hand?
It'll be a pleasure to ride with ya sometime.

Welcome to the boards and yes, you fit in just fine. The oldtimers are too fast for us younger slow folk so we have to get sport bikes to keep with them.

I am going to TWU and as much as I want to ride my bike there, I am afraid it would get lost if it decided to go for a ride without me and then I would be stranded in Denton.

Nice that you recognize it! It was in the Arkasas National forest though. After hitting 121 and Mt Judea. It really was gorgeous. :)

I'll be there at bike night soon enough I figure!

Well it's hard to steal a triumph, alot of mechanic shops are like fortresses! :-)
BURN!

Had I read this thread earlier I would have invited you to ride with Unfazable and I. We hit up some roads in Aledo, Joshua, Burleson and Hudson Oaks today. As Suggested by Dragonfly, of course.
Unfortunately, my ass can't handle my bike's hard ass seat for too long before it starts hurting so I haven't been too far.

Nice pics and welcome to the club. Hoping to meet you soon.

You need to break that ass in...that means, riding more and longer rides at a time. Before you know it, your ass will be able to handle 1000 miles no problem :D

Gosh darn it! I wanted to ride so bad and poor Miles had some mechanical issues and so I was stuck doing meager city errands. BLECK!

I'm down for a Friday ride....

I hear ya...I once had a Kawasaki that I'd used the seat as an excuse so as to not break down too far away from home. Once. :-)

Seriously, nothin' but ridin' toughens up the rear. Ride on brother...til she breaks! :SideSplittingLaughter: (Okay, maybe not seriously). :-D

Actually, in total seriousness, I'd ride just about anything but a cruiser, and if that were my only choice between riding or no, I guess I'd ride one...but I'd be sure my face was obscured, rep being what it is and all. I think I'm serious this time. :HeadScratch:

Love the bike but I feel like the seat on this bike is the least padded out of any supersport.
I guess I somehow have to build up some butt calluses, anyone up for helping me?

But in all seriousness, I aint about that life and it sounds gross.
