Says it has a DOT and ECE rating so protection wise it should be decent. Just a question of how comfortable it is. A different web page confirms the MSR of nearly $300 so it could be just a good clearance deal.

Shiro came to the US and was being distributed by Fulmer Helmets. Fulmer has stopped importing them therefore it's a dead helmet line. I am...unboxed my new track helmet this morning...just arrived. I just try to pass along great deals, in case someone needs one.

For the record, while still pricey, this new Arai is $337 cheaper than it was a year ago due to the introduction of the new Corsair X (I bought a Corsair V). The are deals to be had for those looking for one, even in solid colors.
