Noise canceling tech baffles me. I understand the principal, but it just seems to me unless everything is just perfect you'd just have speaker blaring noise as loud as the noise you're trying to block and you'd end up with double the volume.

It works pretty well on the airplane. I can put the headphones on and the noise drops a little. I turn on the noise canceling and it drop way down. I don't know if it is dependent upon just how uniform the noise is over time.

It works best when sound is consistent, but still does a good job of reducing sudden noises as well.

Being Sena, it will only work on scooters with a full windshield under 15 mph though.....

Oh I agree, good noise canceling systems work amazing well. I just know too much of the science behind how it works that it dumb founds me that it actually works. The idea of getting the wave forms out of phase and in sync seems amazingly difficult to achieve.
