Fort Worth Motorcycle Riders

This morning stopped by police 1/2 mile from home at 0435. What did I do or not do that got me pulled over? I will buy lunch on a future ride for the first person who guesses correctly.

0435 in morning so probably not on bike? Ummm, didn't fully stop at stop sign/signal.

In a car, did not turn on headlights?

I was on the bike, and like an idiot I almost(not completely) stopped at the right turn, but that's not what I did to get pulled over.....

Headlights were on....but you are getting closer to what I did, or did not do to get pulled over.

That is a close guess,..... someone is going to put the pieces together between Saturday at TWS and what I could have possibly done, or not done that would cause me to get pulled over at 0435 this morning.

You didn't untape your glass parts, but I thought for sure you would notice the dim lights being out that early, that's why I thought you were in the vehicle :p.

Well, maybe you did untape the front, but not your rear blinker, aka pulled over for that :P.

Winner! All rear lights still taped! I changed to black tape to match the bike colors, I think I better go back to the bright blue. Cool, your next lunch is on me!

Did you get a ticket?

Yea no rear lights is a real safety issue - if he didn't give you a ticket or a hard time he may have just helped you out big time

Did that once, forgot to plug the tail lights back in. Was riding with a group though and someone pointed it out before we got onto the main road.

No ticket, not sure if him being a motorcycle cop, me having helmet, jacket, gloves, earplugs etc or the surprised/embarrassed look on my face, my Absolute and sincere thanks to him for stopping me before I got on I-20 with no rear lights at all!, or that he said, "Oh, your Jaden's dad" helped me out there. Maybe the CHL???(not sure if that helps)

Glad he didn't give me a ticket, but I really am glad he stopped me!

I have never once said that about any of the 40+ times I've been pulled over in my life...

Absolutely a first for me also.

Forgot to put my mirrors on after a track day once. I HATE riding without them.

Yeah, you don't realize just how much you use them in traffic till you don't have them.
