Anyone here done MSRH? How was it? Is it usually a little less HOT in Oct? Does anyone have interest in going this day besides me?

I am interested. This will be my home track next year, so I need to try it out.

I wanted to try it at some point but I decided that's a hell of a drive for a track that's not all that in terms of condition, with TWS getting closed down tho it looks like it may be work the drive just for the variety. Assuming my ass ever gets another working bike any time this decade

Moving to Houston? Closer to COTA, would have been closer to TWS I guess. Work opportunity?

I forgot to ask off for a 3 day weekend so I was surprised when the schedule came out and I was off Oct 20, 21 and 22.

I agree Rick, it is a ways to drive and even though I drove to TWS the two times I went there, for me, I need to get a hotel for Friday night at least. If I am ever going to ride MSRH this is probably the best chance I will get.

Seth, do you know what part of Houston you are moving too?

Jeff, (off subject) thanks for the Ham radio recommendations I have one on order, a study guide, and I am looking for a location to take the technician level test.

Yeah, company moving me to The Woodlands. I will have to do more MSRH days than Cresson.

Doh. That would have been really convenient to TWS. Probably almost as close to TWS as to MSRH.

You can practice the test online or with a phone app. Just run through the practice tests over and over. The test is from a standard pool of questions. Even if you don't know the subject in depth, you will eventually remember the questions and recognize the answers; it is all multiple choice. Many clubs will have a test session at the conclusion of their monthly meeting, I think there is a group that meets at the old south pancake house off of 20 in FTW. BTW you don't need a license to listen.
