Beck doesn't have a bike that can do the red neck ramble, and I need to use this weekend to get caught back up from being out for 4 days in big bend

I think I just saw the date in the subject line and assumed it was the bike night thread. I did think it was weird that Rick posted the Stoney would be there.

Checking out the ramble site. They have a single track area a couple miles away and are gearing up for the field meet. One of the obstacles is deep sand. I think I heard them say it was imported from Utah.

Ran into Stoney, not literally. In spite of a few folks telling me not to, I ran the single track on the VStrom. Made it through, but it wasn't pretty. Biggest problem with the Strom, as usual, was ground clearance, which really can't be fixed.
