your gonna spend so much time popping and swapping rims that by the time your done, the weather will have already changed.

I woke up this morning and for a brief second was confused as to what state I lived in- suddenly I thought I was in Oregon...

There are a number of good, all weather tires for your everyday use. Going to the track is another story. I'm riding Diablo's right now, but have sworn by the Pilots and M3's. Every tire is a little different and it's going to depend a LOT on the way you ride.

Swapping out rims ... not unless it's for a TRACK DAY! :-)

I ride in the rain alot and love every minute of it and am currently running on pilot roads and have not had any problems so far...

I agree with Avi...with the way TX weather works around here you will spend more time swapping so you might as well put up with the rain and just ride or there is always the boring options of waiting it out or taking the cage...

If you like the Pilot Road tires, try the Powers or their successor next time ... I think you'll like the difference. :D

OK - I have Pilot Powers now - and the ones I have a pretty much bald now. 10k on the front and maybe 5k on the back. (2nd back tire to the 1 front tire).

I kinda ment this post as a joke, because of all the damn rain we've had these past weeks.
-
That being said, I did look around for something with more of a tread pattern than my current tire, the Pilot Powers. Aanybody have an objectionable opinion to the Pilot Road tires, for my Sprint?

2CTs.

Same tread, dual compound. They stick.

Don't get the recalled ones though.

Had Pilot Road on my Beemer and got great wear and decent handling out of them.

My 2CT's are awesome

They have been through several track days, wet weather, dry weather-I haven't had a problem out of them. So for me they are the perfect do everything tire with eplenty of grip for just about any situation...hmmm...haven't tried them out on snow and ice yet :-)

had no cage for over two years and rode in rain sleet snow and ice, all name brand tires around these days will do the average rider just fine in every condition.
