Yeah I don't think anyone would be allowed near them that doesn't work on the plane. But it would definitely be cool.

I would have a couple years ago. Whether they would let me take my bike back there is another story... lol

You sure about that? I don't know what they'd be doing up there, as far as I know all the ones in the area are at Lockheed. Could be wrong though, they don't tell me as much as they use to.

Yeah I think the neighbor said they all leave from lockheed, he works for British aerospace and builds the tail sections.

I learned that they dont like when you park your bike under one of the wings of the jet, just so your bike will stay cool. I got a ass chewing for that one.

What if the jet hasnt flown in a while but is also not in a museum? Say standing gate guard?

As long as the model of aircraft is still active, so yeah, if you have an F-16 or some other active aircraft on display that'd count.
