Wouldn't it be cool to come up with a motorcycle achievement list and put an icon below your name or something as you unlock them

some items could be as simple as, did a track day at X track, achievement unlocked

coming up with the stuff would be easy, creating the icons possible too, but no easy way to tie it to your account, would have to be like honor system and put them in your signature line.

If I get board I may play around with some making something. If you wanted it integrated to your account you'd have to talk DS into it.

Holy Crap...Someone has a TON of time on their hands!!

We have a very similiar list of achievements in the skydiving world. WE issue "Licenses" for such things as Freefall thru hail storm, land in a boat, Ride the tower lights, hang form the wheel etc etc.

I can see this becoming a "Patch" worthy list going forward!

Sounds good to me, I'll start making some "icons" and such for these, simple and small for bandwith purposes etc.

I can further reduce the size and such, but these would be male passenger, female passenger, and 3 up, obviously.

looks pretty good. I take out 32. and on the speed demon one i would lower the speeds, most bikes are limitied to 186 correct?

They are, but don't think of this as like a scavenger hunt, most bikes are limited to 186 but not all and there are easy way's around that, DD has a method to get around that, and the suzuki's have the same methods + TRE mod etc.

Even then, I wouldn't even attempt 185 mph on my 750, I'd have lose about 40lbs and I doubt my bolt on mods would put me there, GPS verified mind you.

If someone did manage 200+ GPS verfied, wouldn't you consider that legendary? even years down the road someone could ask, has anyone ever gone 200? yea yea there was that crazy bastardard name X, he doesn't ride with us anymore but thats who did it - legendary

If I dropped it below 150 that wouldn't be any kind of acheivement, that would be "Fixxer was out riding"

Any inline 3 or larger can achieve 150, so that is a reasonable top speed for any sport bike, but only the monsters among us can really put it up there, DD has said several times he thinks his 14 will do 200.

Example, everyone needs to do the 3 sisters at least once, if you don't, your just robbing yourself, so that is achievable, but 10 times, thats either an old timer or someone who is obsessed, hence legendary.

Just like the mountaineer, I hit 3 of those ranges in one trip before, but the 4th, I would have had to have gone out of my way to get there.

And the touring one, a pic of your bike in all 48 states, that is excessive, but not impossible, its not meant to be a tick list becuase I sure as hell don't want to hit a deer or larger, let a lone a dog or break a chain! But wouldn't you admit, if someone hit a cow, that would be down right legendary, that story would last through generations of the club.

Yeah, after I posted it I got thinking there are a lot of things I don't really want to do again. So maybe if you just have photographic evidence of said achevement...?

If you're going to have "bonuses" for riding the sisters more than once, you should do the same for the dragon.
