Re: Most recent purchase thread!

In that range. One review described them as 60-40, others 50-50.

Cresson member day

I got to go ride the 1.7 at Cresson on a member day, though I am not an actual Cresson member. I took a few seconds off my fastest time on the 1.7. My average lap time that day was within a few seconds of my best lap time riding with RideSmart. I think this comes down to the lack of traffic. At the ...

Re: Car Logos

I didn't remember very well, so I had to look it up. But the AMC Gremlin had a "Gremlin" gremlin.jpg Something stuck in my head about the Corvette flags. I did a little looking and found that it was used on the Corvair as well. Of course that was a long time ago. It is possible I only reme...

MSRC 6/28 Sun 1.3; 6/29 Mon 1.7

Have not registered yet. Have some scheduling to work through. This last weekend there was no classroom, which was nice. I'd guess they will keep that up at least through these two days. It also meant they didn't allow anyone who had never been to the track before. The coaches were pretty sparse on ...

Re: Truck to tow overland camping trailer

I'd be curious as to the purpose to the conversion in this case. If there was one, or if it is just a vanity project. This was at Cresson on Saturday but I never saw the driver standing around by it. These are similar tires and wheels (3 piece) to those used on some military vehicles which have buil...

If any of you know active duty military who ride, 316 is doing a free track day at COTA July 4th. Must be active duty military if I heard correctly.

316 Track Days 6/6 MSRC 1.7

Out here this morning, it seems strange. They have fewer riders per session, fewer coaches today because it is just a track day, and the parking seems more crowded than usual. On the plus side they have added concrete apron 20 feet deep all along the edge of the paddock opposite the main classroom b...

Re: Gas

Unfortunately I , like most people, don't have a way to store and preserve 1000 gallons at those prices. I also saw diesel under $2. While the demand side isn't looking to get much better in the immediate future, I think there will be some production cuts overseas. OPEC and the Russians appear to ha...

Re: Tarrant County issued stay at home order

No, I don't think it will be an issue either. I'm sure the police really don't want to interact with more people than absolutely necessary.

But with weekend options limited, I did notice that Borderlands 3 is out.

Re: Tarrant County issued stay at home order

The description of businesses that are essential is pretty wide open. It seems like more businesses will be open than closed. Not to mention you are allowed to go out and do lots of stuff anyway. For my part, my boss gave me a letter saying I was supporting critical infrastructure. But I work from h...

Vehicle registration expiration supposedly won't get you a ticket during the state of emergency.
