Re: MSR-Cresson - June 26 and 27, 2010

I am sure it will not go as far as new forks.

Although, this may be a chance for you to go the "upgrade" rout. Assuming there are any better forks that you might have an eye on.

Hmmm, should be able to drill it a little bigger, tap it, then insert a helicoil. I expect that is what they will do.

Re: Stopped by CycleWerkz today

Your stock stearing damper should work fine. If I were you, I would not worry about geting an aftermarket one, chance is that you would not get much extra benefit from getting a different one.

Re: Trackday checklist

Oh, and this goes for anyone that is attending their first track day... Level 1 and 2 have classes, all day you will either be in class or on the track, not much time for anything else. The first few sessions will tend to feel quite overwhelming, you will usually feel as if you are being rushed to g...

Re: Trackday checklist

As for contrast of colors for photos. Blair's cameras are using an auto focus, and your bike already has enough color contrast as is, you should not have to worry about what color tape to use other than personal preference. Food , I like to bring trail mix (nuts, raisins, and M&Ms) to munch on t...

If you have insurance on your bike back home, you could try to get a copy of that insurance card and hand that to the dealer.

Welcome, I am sure we will have a few rides in August. Although, many of us will be going to Alabama for a track day weekend in the middle of August. Either way, do come and meet us at our bike nights to see what we are all about.

Re: Ride Saturday June 19th (Intermediate & Moderate)

Yeah, I enjoyed the ride and was glad to see the turnout that we had. Thank you DS for getting a rout set up, we ended up meeting close to the same time for the last two stops, and had fun on the way. And thank you Blizz for tailing. KC817, glad you and your nephew were able to meet up with us even ...

Dragonfly, I will not have a collet. Mattjmartin, we would be more than happy to have you ride with us. But yes, we will want you to ride a moderate to start. Re: Ride Saturday June 19th (Intermediate & Moderate)

As for ride time, expect about 4 hours to get to lunch (gas stops included), and about 1 hour to get back to Fort Worth. The moderate ride also requires bikes to be in good working order. Gear required for the moderate will be; Jacket, helmet, gloves, long pants, and good sturdy shoes (preferably to...

Re: FS: Enclosed trailer

George, you interested again? :-) Thanks for the thought, but at the moment the fold up trailer is perfect size and fit for me. I don't expect to be in the market for an enclosed trailer for some time. Yes, it would be nice to see it get sold to a club member. Cheers, and good luck with your classes.
