Re: Lights
Demon Duck has some pretty sweet lights. Another option are the lizard lights from kuryakyn. I used to run those when I had a cruiser and loved them.

Re: Chain and sprocket advice.
Both are really good, you can't go wrong with a chain from either of those companies. When choosing a chain, keep in mind, X-rings are better than O-rings for chain life.

Agreed, if I find that anything other than my kill switch being tampered with, there will be broken wrists etc. Seriously guys, don't mess with other people's rides, they spent a lot of time and thought into getting them set up just how they want them. Messing with others bikes without their permiss...

Cool stuff, don't know about the video screen, but the GPS appears to be one of Garmin's Zumo series units wich are motorcycle specific waterproof and glove friendly units.

Re: Chain and sprocket advice.
I have not heard any reviews on those. I would try one, except I can not justify the extra cost over a standard steel sprocket (my personal opinion). Although, with my background in mind, those would give you about the best life and weight balance. You would get the long, robust life with the streng...

That would be David, and yeah, he has not been in quite a while. David is welcomed by most all bikers in the area, FWMR or not.DemonDuck wrote:By the way the guy at the front counter (im horrible with names) at cyclewerkz said he might come by as it has been a while.

Yes, welcome! That is a long way for you to commute for a bike night. That said, see you at bike night, and hope we meet up to your expectations. Oh, and yes, we have many people with a great deal of knowledge about riding and are more than happy to help with most anything. All you have to do is ask.

I agree with Firewa11, some of this postwhoring has gotten out of hand to the point we can't read the boards, there was a section devoted to the postwhoring for that reason

Re: Chain and sprocket advice.
Personally, I like to stick with stock, and if you really want to get the speedo adjusted you should get something like a SpeedoHealer, these modify the electronic signal with a correction factor for callibrating your speedo. You can get one through Cycle Werkz, I think they are about $110 or $120.

Yes...
2) How hot is too hot for you to ride in?
When the temp. hits the melting point of my tires.

Re: Chain and sprocket advice.
DemonDuck, I would suggest you stay with the stock chain width (as Firewa11 stated, DID and RK make some of the best quality/strongest chains out there), and use a steel sprocket (they will last much longer than other materials, especially with the size/hp bike you have). Change both sprockets and t...
