I just saw on the news out here that it's now illegal to have a wood burning fireplace built and it's illegal to use one if your house already has one. The reasoning behind the new law is air pollution. Give me a break!

Yes, because your fireplace will put off way more pollution than the FOREST FIRES that burn in California on a daily basis...
