Stupid right mirror!

Post by dz » Tue Jun 05, 2007 11:14 am

My right mirror keeps going out of place. I just got the bike a month or so ago. It seems like I can just tighten it, but should it really be this bad after only a couple months?

tighten it and get over it. If it continues to loosen, then maybe you have a problem

Ya normally I would've just moved on, but I figured since the bike is still fairly new that I shouldn't be dealing with this yet. I didn't think they wore out that quick.

first answer: it shouldnt
second answer: it did

is it easy to tighten (not from what I remember of my sv). if not, it should definitely be covered by manufacturer's warranty. call em up, explain the situation and I'm sure they would be willing to replace the assembly.

and if you do tighten it, dont over tighten it. instead, apply some loctite to the thread (what should have been down in the first place).
