Now the question is, did the driver do that with his foot, or did some one program the computer to do that?

I think that was a computer, it sounded like they were getting the harmonics range dialed in at the beginning...

A bud here at work sent me that a few weeks ago, that's "God Save the
Queen" the patriotic hymn and national anthem of the United Kingdom.

The funny thing is it was the English tuning the car for the French!...
that part was funny... you gotta love English sense of humour... :D

The Mechanic programming the "tuning" sequence is standing just left of the car...

Yeah I believe the story is it was an english engineer working for renault (i think) F1 team. They run through a series of rpm ranges for set times to "run it in" after rebuilds and the like. Must've taken a while to figure out what rpms gives which note.
