Guys this is it, its finally come together!
Old S'cool hand drop Drag Racing at the Leakey Airstrip sponsored by
The Justified Ancients of Speed
Theres a great Motorcycle Show at Frio Springs Lodges but its for anything BUT Harleys! We don't care if its a Moped or Eurotrash Buells to Gixxer's Vintage or custom, if you THINK some one might like to look at it we want to see it! Bring it on!
Guys I always thought it was cool to watch those Cops on those huge cruisers do the Gymkhana/Agility course so yep! We have one along with the usual Motorcycle Rodeo Stuff.
Theres a Time Attack Ride of the Three Twisted Sisters That's starts and ends at Frio Canyon Motorcycle Stop
Gear Raffles Saturday and Sunday.
My Wife and I are Huge SportBike Enthusiasts and we have worked really hard to bring this event together. Politics are politics so this event is a Charity Event providing support to the Real county Volunteer EMS.

hey DemonDuck
Guys we really got lucky. its a home run really. Find a tolerant town, that will put up with the bikes and traffic. Local business owners that are willing to shell out a few bucks to donate, Sponsors wiling to take the plunge, Vendors willing to make the trip.
From a chance meeting and a somewhat bizarre discussion to everything from the landowners to the City Council falling into place in a matter of weeks.
You know Guys, my Wife and I are both EX-Racers and some of our best times have been hanging out at the Race Track with some friends. Well that's what we have in mind here just a cozy little weekend with a thousand or so of our friends!
Armbands sales will include such amenities as Saturday morning breakfast, entry and participation in all events, Saturday night shuttle to and from the Bars, admission to the LoneStar Motorcycle Museum, Free raffle tickets.
We are in negotiations with one manufacturer and already have some great Sponsors. The Justified Ancients of Speed have stepped up and offered to run the Drag Racing and handle the tech inspections. I also heard that they are going to open the book that weekend to add some new Riders to the Book of Speed.
The Owners at Frio Canyon Lodges have a super nice indoor outdoor Pavilion they are allowing us to park greasy old bikes on!hahha
There's a contact on the webpage or you guys can contact us through herewith questions or ideas, well except for the following questions,
Can I enter my Harley in the _____? NOPE
Can I do Wheelies IN town? Nope not in town
Are non SportBikes welcome? Yep
Am I as fast as your Wife? Not likely! Unless your in the 200 club don't even ask

Yeah no doubt! That's the big key we are trying to hit all the forum boards, clubs, hangouts possible between now and then. So yeah please spread the word! We will be in DFW for about 9 days so we are going to hit some shops there. Leslie at High Five, Audrey at Moto-Liberty are all friends so we will visit them and probably swing by and see Al Lamb, Jacks in Rockwall. But beyond that we are up for recommendations. I was kind of wanting to bring a bike with us but I don't think it's going to happen. We are dropping a RaceBike project in Austin Saturday so probably no room for one of the StreetBikes, and I'm NOT leaving my Bikes outside in a hotel parking lot!

Sounds like a blast. I'm planning on track days at Cresson that weekend. Did I say it sounds like fun.

Im currently building 4 trackday bikes, a 1986 GSXR750 Limited period correct RaceBike retro restoration. This is my personal toy we call it theprodigal Son"
Image
Period correct 18" PM Chicane wheels, Tokico 6 piston calipers, replacing all of the dry clutch was a $4K investment not for the faint of heart! I'm really psyched to get on the track with this jewel.
I'm also doing an RZ-350 with FZR Swingarm, 17" wheels, R6 shock, USD forks for the wife to TrackDay
Image
, lastly a a pile of FZR600's to build my best friend a track bike.
But back to the Rally, there's going to be a ton of Track Days, only one SportBike Rally!

iF I get the front wheel spacers built and the calipers on it I will put it in the Motorcycle Show at Leaky. I still have to install the dual dry break gas filler and throw on some exhaust. I'm looking for a period correct Yosh pipe.
