Good ride, Rick! Now I remember why I hate non-perforated leathers in summer.

Too bad 1238 is now crap. They chip sealed it, and not the good way.

Thanks again for the great ride, Rick! I had a blast. It's been a long time since I've found a group that is this much fun to ride with.

And (repeating myself from the intro tread for Sethro that I kinda hijacked), there weren't any Triumphs this time, so we actually got to spend more time riding that working on and pushing triumphs! :SideSplittingLaughter: :SideSplittingLaughter:

I dunno who's idea it was to wrap our bodies in dead animals then run around in the desert heat...

The whole road or just the part by Iradell? The part closer to Cranfils Gap was perfect pavement.

I am thinking they just "chipped sealed" it, to protect the good pavement underneath from large trucks going down it. I am most likely wrong but that is what I thought.

Well, hate to hear that. But I have to say, 219 is my favorite part and it's much longer. Glad it's not screwed up (yet).

Good ride, well drive for me. Been quite awhile since I've pushed my car like that. Was fun.
