Scuba liquidation

Post by fixxervi6 » Sun Jul 05, 2015 11:45 am

For several reasons, it's time for me to come out of denial and close a chapter on my life for good, I haven't been a cave diver in years and the likelyhood of me returning to that lifestyle is not good, my changes in bone structure certainly isn't helping the cause.

It kills me to do this because my passion for cave diving outweighs everything else but the reality is, it isn't going to happen for me anymore.

I have TONS of scuba gear up for grabs, if anyone is interested in getting started let me know and I'll hook you up, first come first served.

I must warn you, if it's something you get into it can bleed you dry, if you thought motorcycles were expensive....

You got a bcd? Octopus? Tanks? And how much? I had a bunch of nice gear in ca. But in the move out here a lot came up "missing".

I have a bunch of cylinders, LP 108 steel X 4 LP 85 steel AL 50's and 80's, several of each

Only backplate and harness, I haven't used a traditional BC since discovering better ways of doing it, several home made nomount/sidemount rigs and various wing weights for BCD

No octo's only full regulators (sidemount diver), I think I have 13 I'd have to go count to be sure.

Several pairs of fins, scooter, compressor, bags, cordage of all types, lights, drysuit etc. I was a technical diver.

Fittings?

All of my stuff is DIN, not sure if that will be an issue or not. My recommendation would be to come by and just pick what you want, as with all life support equipment it should be serviced before use.

backplate harness, single tank adapater, matchin wing, fins, mask wetsuit, full regulator setup.

I have one complete back mount rig left and I'll bet within hours it's going to be gone.

I would love to grab whatever I would need to start out but at the same time I don't need any more hobbies.

So sorry it's finally come to this point, but glad you are able to work on yourself and you know, recognize that true zen is being around a bit longer for your loved ones. ^_^

As for the equipment, maybe in another life I'd have bought it. But between zen and my fear of drowning (and of course not trusting another human to not kill me in their own stinking panic), I'm passing. ;)

If you aren't getting any nibbles on here (not sure where else you posted), you can post this up on my wall if you like. I might know peeps who know peep that may be interested.
