Geico is the worst man, I got a quote from them once and literally laughed at them on the phone and told them to eat it.

They were cheaper than Progressive and their "USAA partner discount"...

I've got geico and I'm paying $47 a month full coverage (collision, comprehensive, uninsured, underinsured, personal injury protection) for multiple bikes. Biggest discount I get is for being a Texas DPS certified Rider Coach. The MSF certification doesn't mean much to geico but you say Texas DPS and it gets cut in half.

If I add another bike it will drop to $35 a month.

Try Al Boenker. I don't know how good the insurance is, but it's usually cheap.

When I first bought my bike State Farm was the cheapest until they did their usual "up the premium and think the customer is an idiot and won't notice" thing.

I've had state farm for years, the new multi is only 740/yr granted oregon is a little cheaper. The r1 dropped about 30/mth when we moved.

The shop I bought the r1 from said they love state farm, easiest to deal with in regards to getting stuff fixed. Said Geico and allstate were a nightmare.

They wrote checks for my helmet, bike and a second hidden damage claim with only pictures and quotes. Would have probably paid for my suit had I submitted it, but now it has character.

State Farm covered my bike, gear, and paid out the uninsured/underinsured with no hassles. Just had to provide them a copy of the hospital bill that basically showed them I was totaled. :)

Yes if you're asking me. I told them it was on a closed course during a rider training course. No further questions asked. Keep in mind it was licensed for the street...I have no idea if that matters.

My State Farm rep told me they don't care if it's at the track or not, they will cover it. However, she did say if I was racing, and told them up front I'd be racing they would not of covered me. My track go down last year I wasn't hurt and the bike would have been considered totaled even though it was still very ridable and I wouldn't of gotten much for it anyway so I didn't bother to report it. This last accident the bike wasn't insured so I didn't report it either.

After seeing your latest crash, I would question whether it was or not. I know there have been a lot of opinions and speculation, but it sure looks like more bike failure than rider failure to me.

It was just really bad head shake. I should of had my suspension looked at after the barber go down but I never did. Not saying that was the only problem, but I can't help to think that I was a major factor.

There was probably one last little piece of gravel in there that threw everything off balance. :)

Triumphs start off balance.... its if they get balanced that the problems start.... and never stop.

It's true. I injested an SV650 into the airbox at Cresson...S3 was lopsided the rest of the weekend.

"Injested" started out as "sucked", then I remembered the quotes thread. Whew!
