New Orleans is on my "okay to visit" list, not a place I'd want to live, for many reasons.

I would move back to New Orleans in a heart beat, if the opportunity arose. The quality of life there was extremely high.

Texas is actually better for herpetology, but the factors that make living in New Orleans fantastic involve the really diverse and unique local culture. The people there are extremely family-oriented, active in their communities, and not afraid to swim against the stream. Perhaps most obviously, people embrace and celebrate their culture, and there are few weekends when there isn't some sort of festival or community event taking place. The city itself also has lots of fascinating historic remnants that are visible in its architecture and soul. Its really a place that is unique in this country.

Reminds me of a set of bias ply rear tires that I used to run on my Camaro. You could tell that they were street tires because they say STREET in 5 inch tall letters on the sidewall and have 2 tiny grooves in the tread.

Miles, you need to get a "supermoto" sticker to put on your dirtbike.
