On our trip last week was some talk of roads in Colorado and Pikes Peak and what not. I also mentioned Bishop's Castle, which no one had heard of. I visited there a few years ago, by accident. I had saw a thing on the travel channel about it while flipping through channels and the following week I was on a drive with a friend up to Colorado to go to Pikes Peak. We just happened to be on the road that Bishop's Castle is on so slammed on the brakes and backed up to check it out after we flew past it.

Kegan stopped by it on one of his trips as well

The place is nuts, and a must see if you're in the area. Give yourself a good hour or more to wonder around and climb the stairs. Elevation is around 9000 feet so climbing the stairs can take a lot out of you, plan the visit like you would a hiking trip.
