Hello all, as of October 15th I'm stepping down from my position of President of FWMR.
It's been a long run, I've devoted quite a bit of time and energy to the club over the years and it's time for me to shift some that time and energy to other goals.
Now before anyone goes off saying "Uh oh what happened, who pissed him off" well nothing, I'm just not going to have the time and energy it takes to pull this rope in the future like I have in the past, as an example I've started a new adventure outside of the club that is going to keep me from attending bike nights from here until the foreseeable future.
I'll still be around, I'll still post, I'm still riding, I'll still be at the track, and when I have the time I'll post up a ride, most of you have my phone number etc.

Re: Stepping down Oct 15th
Rick, I have only been around fwmr since April 2016, and from my meatball seat I think you have done a great job. When you were leading the ride I felt confident in your judgment and I think we were all safer because of your level head, and riding experience and yet every ride was a total blast! Thank YOU!

Rick,
I appreciated all the work and effort you put into the club. Your trip planning and responsiveness to everything showed how much you enjoyed riding and the people involved.
Thanks again,
Pete

Re: Stepping down Oct 15th
Rick,
I appreciate all that you have done here in the short time I've been involved with the club. Your leadership will be missed. It is unfortunate that you won't be able to make Bike Nights but I look forward to seeing you on rides (if I can manage to be in town for one) and at the track.
Thanks,
Jeff

Re: Stepping down Oct 15th
Thanks Rick for putting forth the effort and selfless time in serving the club. I'm sure it can feel unrewarding often, but It doesn't go unnoticed. In all of my observances you have done so whole heartedly. I certainly appreciate it.
