Like new used tires for the BMW. $150 for the set of Supercorsa's is hard to pass up.

Nice ride. Funny story about those..... I once told Tadge Juechter that those were the ugliest wheels ever put on a Corvette. Had a nice discussion about why I thought so....Later found out those were his call.....

:) Yeah, Melissa showed it to me the other day but figured if you're going to post stuff you bought for it here, you needed to post it too. :D

Nice ride by the way. When you going to take it to the track?

If you've noticed, they never really came back on the car..... just sayin.....

It was at an in-house focus group trying to make the car more appealing to younger buyers. Showed us some neat concepts, marketing ideas, etc. Took a lot of feedback very seriously, and I know at least 2 things discussed in that meeting made it into the C7.

I tried to make friends with the C7 (and was initially considering one), but I cannot get myself to like the new look. The lines on that car are just too harsh for my taste, almost Japanese in appearance.

Because on day 3 of this ride, I got into an accident in the desert. Turns out, I rode nearly 6,000 miles after that with a bent front axle. :-)

My SUV sucks at towing, so I'll be installing these with a custom control system this week.

Aw, that's no fun. Had my car sliding sideways through the grass of turn 1 at Texas Motor Speed way about 2 weeks after I bought it. Nothing like the track to teach you the limits of the car and how touchy the throttle can be in 1st gear. :D

Yeah, I'd love to, but my rule has always been to only track what I can afford to bust, and it has served me well.

Yeah, not a bad rule...so how long till it's paid off? :D Car wouldn't be quite as big of a worry of damaging, but is quite a bit higher repair cost if it does happen.

I am glad I took mine out as early as I did though, it really did greatly improve my ability to drive and control it faster than I would have just driving on the street.

Not that long, just a few years. I made a massive down payment, so the financing actually turned out pretty tame.
