riding question?????

Post by doughboy » Mon Dec 04, 2006 10:34 pm

Ok! Ladies and gentlemen,

I would like to know what is the one major thing you would like to work on in your riding skills?? Only one thing?

My one thing is my corner entry speed. I always think I am coming into the corner to hot and I am going to low side it in the corner. :-o I would like to get to the point in where I am  in the corner.

For me its everything about cornering. Speed, lines, keeping my eyes up and looking through the turn.

To get back to my previous level of focus and confidence.

I know you only said one, but things I am ALWAYS striving to improve:
-throttle control
-rpm range
-body position (head, shoulders, hands, arms, arse, legs, feet - oh and toe draggin....)
-corner entry speed
-smooth transitions between body positions
-trail breaking
-finding that optimal balance between lean angle (and hence tire traction area) and speed/acceleration
-improving the speed of my decision making when passing. Hesitation is what separates me from other riders that I am just as fast as.

- oh yeah, and lines :D

Thats all really......

The only real problem doughboy has is keeping the front wheel on the ground. Guess there is just too much ballast back there :-) :-)

Vagrant doing the cancan while going 20 mph on 2 wheels doesn't count. You have to be on one wheel!!!

I think I need to work on staying on the track. Everything else is perfect. :-)
