This was the original logo FWMR used when the club was first formed. The club was initially intended to be a sport bike and cruiser club, a place were every bike was welcome. The club still does welcome cruisers but we don't actively seek them out anymore. Things just didn't work out, the mentality any style of ride is just too different between the average cruiser and sportbikes to work out. So we eventually pulled the shark out, and created a new banner/logo.
I believe that is from the first trip up to Arkansas. I know several people try to do that but I personally have never done it. I've always felt comfortable enough with were I was staying to trust in just a chain lock. the first one. That was our original logo. Back in the day we had a sportbike forum and a cruiser forum, but the cruiser side never took off, and it was decided to keep the shark, get rid of the hog and just become a sport bike community.
