Komodo Gear
Does anyone know anything about the Komodo Gear leather jackets?
It is time to replace my old tech gear with some new stuff-
What do do you guys prefer to ride in on the street?

For riding to and from work I wear a Vanson leather jacket, and jeans, and Sidi boot. For most of our club rides I wear a full suit, Zero-60 and my Sidi boots. And of course a helmet and gloves for any ride.

Komodo is becoming popular in this area. It is good cheap leather and is made in Pakistan.
I myself would not wear it but that is just me.
I would recommend anything Alpinestars.
Alpinestars and SIDI make top qality gear and you can get is at a resonible price.
If you are looking for less expensive gear I would go with AGV, teknic, and a couple others.
Alpinestars has the Stage fully perf leather jacket on closeout that is a great jacket and a good deal.
For those interested the Alpinestars Spinner jacket is the club jacket and club members can purchase it from me at my cost.

Love my RS Taichi suit. Light, flexable, comfortable and by far the best breathing suit on the market. All graphics are screened on to a suit that is made from as few layers as possible. Less seems to tear, or catch on the ground if you go down. By far the best suit in its price range. Around $13-1500. But, they run small and only go up to a 50/60. At 6'3", I get a mangina if I try to stand straight up, and when I was 250lbs, it was tight. Now, at 230, it getting a little looser than I like, but that lets my back protector fit better.

I agree with Terry, go with Alpinestars for your leathers. Don't let the price scare you off, think of it as an investment. From my experience they are the best fitting, looking, and quality leather around. I also own Dianese and I prefer Alpinestars over them.
I have a pair of Sidi boots that are seven years old and still look and work great. Another great investment.
Terry, I will be ordering an Alpinestars race repli one piece from you in the near future!
