This is Carie, Jeff(birdshooter's) wife. I just wanted to give you guys an update. He told me earlier today that I needed to treat him like an egg. I told him that I usually throw cracked eggs away.
(Just wanted to explain the subject line). Jeff is doing as well as can be expected right now. He is in a lot of pain. His collar bone is broken pretty badly and will require surgery on Friday. The bone is separated by 2 cm and raised 1 cm and at times you can see it poking up. He will have to have a plate and screws put in and will be in the hospital overnight. The doctor said it has to be operated on or there would only be a 34% chance that it would even heal on its own. The ribs are better, we think. We will be visiting our regular physician in the morning to get the punctured lung checked out and make sure it is healing. I guess if he was going to wreck, he had to do it up right.
Here's a picture of the action shot. This corner is called the (B*TCH) and rightfully so. Jeff won't be visiting her anytime soon. After missing the corner, Jeff tries to bury his head in shame.
