Just finished getting the Bird 'somewhat' legal. I'll be at the Starbucks on Saturday morning. Not going to do the whole ride ... that would land us in Lewisville, at a bar and a long way from home.

This evening Russ was saying that the count was over 500 ... they're expecting maybe 750 bikes. Nothing like the Toy Run, but we need to stick together and watch each other's backs. Worked well for us last December (Thanks for the assist, Benny). Hey, where is HE any way?

See you guys tomorrow night at the F&H and if not there, hopefully on Saturday.
Mike

Just hop on 820 (in any direction) and ride around the loop until you see an exit for Trail Lake. Then ride up and down Trail Lake until you find a Starbucks. :D

If anyone who lives up north wants to we can meet at my house, or somewhere in Saginaw, and ride to Starbucks together. Let me know.

I'll be meeting Don at his house. Not sure if he plans on taking 820, or 35 to the other side, but if he wants to meet up with you also, I'm game.

For those of you that missed it, it was fun in SPITE of the colder weather. We only stayed with the Russ Ride until the first stop and then decided it would be time better spent going to the Honda demo day. We took our own route towards North Dallas with STB in the lead (thanks for ALMOST knowing the way  ).

We were doing our usual 5/10 above traffic when we met up with the bunch from the ride heading north on loop 12. We just cruised on and didn't really pay that much attention to them. We headed on around the north side of 635 and pulled off just past 75 to do a turn-around cutting back over the highway. When we got caught at the light, we looked back and there was a whole F'n BUNCH of bikes following Jeff's lead!!   They were in the Russ Ride and THOUGHT we knew where we were going so they fell in behind us and went MILES out of the way. We pulled over and told them the right way to go and laughed about it for a while. Until you've experienced it, you HAVE NO IDEA what it's like to look behind you (not expecting it) and see 15 or 20 bikes that you DON'T KNOW.

Terry did a turn around at the start of the ride and decided to just say FU since he didn't find either me or Super crumpled up on the side of the road. Super is back on the road in something other than shorts and sandals, driving a mini-van! Blizz has been christened in Dallas traffic (and handled it well). STB, Dough and Big Buell took off playing Squid Tag coming into Cowtown... *I* backed off looking for Super, but never saw him again. There's just something about triple digits on the highway that tends to cause your looking to the back to fade out of your priorities.

Good ride, Guys (and Gal). Hope everyone got home safely.

I never looked at the speedometer, but we couldn't have gone over 85

All those cruisers thinking they could infultrate us, that was pretty funny. I think we should have just gone to the Honda Days thing and seen how long it would take for them to realize we werent getting back on the road.

Blizz, I never thought I would see the day that you, of all people, would say "we should have just gone to the Honda Days" would arise. Maybe, just maybe you are starting to come to the good side, known as HONDA.

Sorry I missed the excitement but I did have to work, damn Lockheed, did I say that out loud. I hope you all had a great ride and even a better one once you threw a leg over a HONDA at Al Lamb's!

Hopefully noone commited to cruiser life on a HD after mingeling with them on the ride. See you all on the next ride!

Umm? Does anyone remember me saying anything near this? I remember not wanting to go to the Honda dealer, and I remember not riding at the Honda Dealer.....
