I like the red one.

Seriously though right now I have no idea. I am looking to purchase a sport type motorcycle somewhere between 250 and 1200cc. Like I said, very confusing motorcycle emotions. Though what type of motorcycle I want is only one of the things racing through my tiny brain.

I was thinking a 250 just because I already have the SV and it's my street bike. I don't have as much riding experience as some of you (only since April) so if I do hit the track, I would like it on a smaller bike. Plus the 250 could be used as a trainer for the wifey. I know I recently owned a 250, but I'd prefer the '08 and newer style even though the older ones are slightly faster from what I've heard.

Nice. Be sure to loose the race numbers though. You get treated slightly differently when on the track with race numbers, not usually a good thing. :)

Not a bad bike, although it would be good to know how much track mileage is on that engine. You'd probably also need to get suspension re-sprung for your weight. By the time you picked her up in TN, and trailered her back to TX, and fixed the suspension, you're looking at about $3k.

You could also just upgrade the suspension & brakes of your street SV, and have a blast on the track for a lot less. If you're nervous about busting her up, you can get some track fairings to throw on there for about $400 or so.

Just something to think about.

Ah, come on. And the red one is slow, yellow is better, but the graphite one is the fastest.

Unless you're the one riding them, in which case they are all equally slow... :) :-)

I really want to do this but I'm not going to be able to swing it. :(
Looks like there will be 3 of you out there Sunday. I have the canopies, if you want them I can bring them by sometime that morning, probably around 9:30 or so. Your guys call. I'm happy to bring them if you want them, although the sun might feel good on you Sunday. Let me know

I will put mine up (canopy) but would still need the cub banner. Might try to give ya a call & swing by your crib & grab it. Would still be cool to have you visit us at the track.

Just looked at the RS page and there is no 3rd group listed. Not sure what's going on but if there's only 2 groups running all day you'll get a hell of lot of track time.

Ok, sounds like canopies are covered so unless I decide at the last minute to do the trackday I'll hang onto them.

This almost makes me want to delay my trip, just to be able to make this last track day. Then I look at the forecasted temperatures, and I immediately feel much better.

You guys have fun out there!
