It SUCKS to get old ... it sucks even MORE to realize it! Live for the moment every chance you get.

DS, What time you want to head out from the Sonic? 10 or 11? My home phone is out (guess I should pay the bill every now and then), so use the cell if you need to call. I'm good to go at either time.

get off Church at noon, so I'll go straight to the track and meet y'all there,
I'll decide if Traci is going to run laps until I see what it is all about.

If you're not riding on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

I would let someone take my bike out there but My job on sunday won't start until 11 and if all goes well it will take 4 hours . You guys have fun .Looks like I will be going to tws on the 7th of April . Anyone wana come?
As I shifted into sixth , I couldn't remember a thing she said !!!!!!!!!I just want to ride !!!!
Sunday's ride up to and onto the Eagles Canyon track will be an INTERMEDIATE ride. If you were planning on going and are not ready for that pace, you probably shouldn't be ON the track for that particular outing. This is not a RideSmart track day ... it's an open event that may be somewhat less than well organized.ZX9R wrote:Bird325 you are aware this not a moderate ride right?

Had a good time at the track, guys. I followed Matt and Jeff each at one point today .... DAAAYYYYUUUMMM! Terry was out there, but I never got near him on the track ... he must have been behind (or lapping ) me. The track is really technical, but quite a bit different than MSR. I can see where knowing that track is going to be a BIG advantage to racers. If you haven't been on it, be ready to have your heart in your throat as you can't see hardly ANY of the corners coming up ... you have to know where they are, which way they turn and how sharp.
The good news is that NOBODY crashed out there by the time I left. There was one more session of 5 laps left, but this old man was worn out. I'm sure there will be plenty of stories to be told in next few days.
For those that are wondering, there's NO WAY I can do the RR justice on a track. The bike is awesome and I doubt that I'll ever get good enough to really experience what it's capable of. Tell you what though ... The Bitch will SCOOT!

Track is defently interesting. Only one really blind turn, the others you can easily see through them, it's seeing the entrance to that that's blind. Several turns just past the crest of a hill, you defently will need to know your brake points cause if you wait till you see the turn you're SOL. I had a great time, can't wait till they truelly get the track finished and we get another chance to ride out there.
