Maybe, but in all seriousness, my brakes feel AMAZING

Between new fluid, aftermarket pads, and being bled properly (yea, I didn't bleed the master cylinder the first time, oops) they feel great.

It's funny how as the brakes slowly degrade they still feel ok, then you do maintenance and its a realization of how bad my brakes really sucked before.

Remember when we switched bikes and i asked you if my brakes felt smushy? Hahah both of ours were bad then. Mine stop on a dime now!

I should have the bike back by Thur with new fork seals. Talked to him again about the springs and he suggested that i not put new ones in. (i didn't know this, but he runs the largest racing team in Texas)

Finally got the bike back yesterday! Holy crap did it take forever! I put it in on saturday and they said it would be thursday...ended up being tuesday. I don't mind having to wait, but i can't stand calling and all i get is "we will call you when it's done". Finally found out one of the new fork seals was bad so they had to redo that one. Anyways other than that i'm extremely happy with everything. I got my supension set up for my weight again and a few other little things i got hooked up with. I'm pretty sure i will be riding on saturday if anyone wants to(or a rideleader host a ride for that matter). :)

Still on the stock springs, I'm guessing?

And yeah, bike shops are notoriously liberal with time frames. Cycle Werkz once had one of my bikes for a month.

You guys should ride Kawasaki. Grapevine has always been spot-on with real estimates.

Tried that, same result (10 days for a couple of simple recall items). To be fair, that was at Kawasaki West, not Grapevine.

In my experience, the closest one has been RPM Cycle. Maybe I need to ride another Triumph...

Yeah still stock springs, we talked about it and he said there was no reason for me to put them in. Also when i did the twist ties i still had an inch to go before i bottomed out(crazy hard on the brakes).

Kawi West is *awful* for service.

I used to go to the Suzuki West shop for service on my M50. As long as I showed up first thing in the morning, they'd do a scheduled maintenance while I waited every time. Kawi West, I tried that and they told me something silly like 3 days.

Grapevine has always been fantastic to me. I make the extra long drive just to give them my business.

I might have to try them next. Its really too bad that the Honda & Kawasaki place in Arlington doesn't appear to be worthwhile. It would be incredibly convenient.

I've always had good service with them.. Except for the time they forgot about my 500 when I dropped it off for a wreck estimate.
