boring slab, although, not as boring as the freeway and you have the odd little town every few hours with weird attractions.

Actually, Chi-town is a pretty cool place to visit. Never done the LA thing.

LA is like Chicago in that there are awesome places you can go and places you don't go, but the weather is much better. LA would have much better roads for motorcycles.
